RENA HUGHES Peacefully in her sleep, Rena passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 93. Left to cherish her memory are Reg, her husband of 72 years, her grandchildren Jeff (Irene), David (Kleo), Dan (Terine), Lisa (Chris), great-grandchildren Kaethe, Nik, Karl, Marina, Andreas, Camryn, Brooke, Marli and Avery, daughter-in-law Diane, and special niece Joanne (Tony). Rena was predeceased by son Art and daughter-in-law Pat, sisters Glady and Edna, and brother Art. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on February 2, 2012. A memorial gathering will follow at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
