I first met Mr. Tymchak when he and his wife shopped at the Safeway Store on Osborne St. and Kylemore in the early 60's. The next time I met him was in The Waverly as he lived next door to my father-in-law Claude Scobie. They were good friends for many years until, Claude and Carl moved out of the building. My wife Diana and I always enjoyed Carl's smiling face, his gentle nature, and we remember he and my father-in-law always sat together at mealtime in the Waverly. Claude and Carl have now passed and I'm sure they are somewhere once again enjoying each other's company. - Posted by: Clive Morrison (Carl was a friend of my father-in-law) on: Feb 11, 2012
