Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN BOYTER KERR (nee WILSON) With heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ann Boyter Kerr on February 8, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. Mum will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Ann Hutchison, Pat Taylor (Kenny), Peter Kerr (Shirlee), John Kerr (Pat), Carol Dickin (Rick), Sharon Horner (Doug), Kim Bouchard (Jeff); l7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mum was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1983, parents Robert Wilson and Margaret Smith in Scotland, sister Margaret Goodall and brother-in-law Alex Goodall in England, brother James Wilson in South Africa and cherished son-in-law Robert Hutchison in Winnipeg, and her wee pal Betty McPhee. Ann was born on November 28, 1926 in Methil Hill, Fife, Scotland. As a young teen Ann was an accomplished distance runner winning many coveted awards. Mum moved to Glasgow, Scotland in 1944 where she met the love of her life Peter and they were married in 1945. In 1967 the Kerr family moved their Clan of six children to a new life in Canada adding a seventh child completing the Kerr Clan. Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A special thanks to our extended family Margaret and Bill Watchman, Betty and Jimmy Spellman and Nanette Magill for their continued support and love. The family also would like to thank Dr. Mowat at St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. Cooke at Health Sciences Centre CancerCare, Dr. Anne Kong at Henderson Medical Centre and the Palliative Care Nurses especially Ann Edegar for all their special care and support given to our Mother. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. 586-8044

We are so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Wayne will always remember her fondly from his childhood days. Unfortunately, due to the passing of our dear friend and neighbor we did not read your Mother's obituary until Monday night so were unable to attend the funeral.
