Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER (ALEX) MYKYTYN It is with deepest sadness that we announce the death of Alex Mykytyn. He fell asleep on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the age of 80 years at the Southeast Personal Care Home. Left to lovingly remember Alex are his sisters Doris, Jean, and Lena; nephews Joe (Eileen), Peter (Nina), Ray (Michelle); nieces Susan (Rod), Priscilla (Jim), and sister-in-law Christina. Alex was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary; brothers Bill (in infancy), John, Nick, Metro, Mike, and Steve (his twin); sisters Catherine, Anne, Nellie, and Pauline; nephews Alex and Wayne. Alex was a hard worker. He farmed in the Chatfield area with his brothers, raising beef cattle. After retiring, he moved to Winnipeg due to ill health. Alex had faith in Jehovah God's promises at John 5:28-29 and Revelation 21:3-4 of Resurrection to a paradise earth where pain, sickness, and death will be no more and he shared this good news with others. In compliance with Alex's wishes there will be no formal Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Southeast Personal Care Home for their loving and compassionate care of Alex.
