MARIA AMANDA BRUCE August 5, 1924 February 19, 2012 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother Maria Amanda Bruce, formerly of St. Laurent, MB. On Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Tache Center Winnipeg, MB., at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Edgar Bruce Sr. on October 22, 2000, and one grandson Lanny Bruce October 3, 1994. Maria was born on August 5, 1924 she lived in St. Laurent most of her life. Maria is survived by her children Bernice (Joe) Silva, Marge Bruce, Edgar Jr. (Shirley) Bruce, Anita Desjarlais, Andre (Marie) Bruce, Elizabeth (Edward) Birch, Shirley (Larry) Day, Brian (Lorraine) Bruce, Fred (Linda) Bruce, Barbara (Edward) Buors, Armand (Maria) Bruce, Germain (Linda) Bruce, Gary Bruce, Denis (Veronica) Bruce, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Alice (David) Ducharme and Velma (Alfred) Allard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 am at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Michel Nault officiating.
