Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY HELEN ROZMUS August 9, 2012 - February 23, 2012 It is with great sorrow that the family of Mary Rozmus announces her passing on February 23, 2012 at Holy Family Home. Mary, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 with her family by her side. Mary was predeceased by her husband Frank, sister Frances Burbella, brother Andrew Zaborniak, son-in-law Paul Nachtigall and an infant great-grandchild. Mary is survived by her son Jerry (Dorene) Rosmus, and four daughters, Pat (Albert) Turkula, Stephie (Carl) Nachtigall, Elsie Nachtigall and Barbara (Gus) Janczyszyn; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mary also leaves behind her sisters, Adeline Chorney and Stella Chorney; sister-in-law Karoline Zaborniak and many nieces and nephews. Mary and Frank raised their family together on their farm in Melrose, Manitoba. Mary will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking and gardening. The family would like to extend gratitude to the special staff and Sisters at 4A, Holy Family Home and to Dr. T. Babick for their heartfelt care. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with Father Isidore Dziadyk, O.S.B.M. officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, and in remembrance of Mary, donations may be made to the Holy Family Home, Building Fund, 165 Aberdeen Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9 or St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Elevator Fund, 737 Bannerman Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2X 1J9.
