ELLA MARSINIUK (TIMCHISHEN)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLA MARSINIUK (nee TIMCHISHEN) Peacefully with her family present, Ella Marsiniuk passed away on February 25, 2012. She was born on September 24, 1921 in the Rosenberg district, married Philip Marsiniuk in November of 1921 and enjoyed 65 years of married life. Together they started farming in the Okno district but later re-located to Arborg while continuing to farm. At this time she started work at the Arborg Memorial Hospital and continued working there until retirement 30 years later. Her stories indicated that she enjoyed her many years there. Surviving to mourn her loss are daughter Diane Yarish (Walter) of Edmonton, granddaughter Leanne Bayley (Scott), great-grandchildren Hunter and Hayden of Edmonton, granddaughter Krista Bax (Scott) and grandson Seaver of Vancouver, and son Brian (Florry) and granddaughter Isabella of Calgary. Additional mourners include sisters Jean Grabowski of Arborg, Tillie Bird of Sydney, BC, brothers and wives Nick and Jean Timchishen of Winnipeg, Morris and Jean Timchischen of Sudbury, Tom and Maxine Walchuk of Winnipeg, Joe and Stella Walchuk of Clearwater, BC, Harold and Alice Timichishen of Crescent, BC, Stan Walchuk and Mary Walchuk of Branford, sister-in- law Elsie Timchishen of Arborg and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by husband Philip in 2005, her mother Nellie Walchuk in 1992, father Kost Timchishen and stepfather John Wolchuk, brothers John and Joe Timchishen, stepbrother Walter Walchuk and stepsisters Mary Oleckiew and Julie Antone. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arborg Community Center, followed by lunch and interment at the Okno Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are nephews Gorden Zinkowski, Ron Zinkowski, Micheal Zinkowski, Ted Timchishen, Kevin Timchishen and Ken Harlos. Ella wished to express a special thanks to the staff of the Arborg Assisted Living Center for making her stay there comfortable and enjoyable and to the staff of the Arborg Memorial Hospital for their excellent care during her stay there.
