Heather was truly the strongest woman I have ever met. I have had the privilege to have known Heather all my life since our families have been very close throughout the years. We have spent many good times together (the lake, Grand Forks, Christmas Eves) and I will always cherish those memories. My mom Lori and Heather had a special bond and have taught me the true value of friendship. Heather was truly an inspiration to us all. I think about you every day Heather and I miss you. Our lives will never be the same without you. - Posted by: Pam Schmalz (Friend) on: Mar 02, 2012

Heather's two dogs brought us together one day. She was out looking for them one spring day when they decided to explore the world. After a few choice words and a few dirty towels; we said goodbye. The next time I saw her was in Vancouver, BC when she joined Lori and her team at the international dragon boat races. I watched the two of them as they looked out over False Creek. Their heads would lean together, whisper a few words and erupt with laughter. My heartfelt thoughts are with you, her loving family and friends. - Posted by: Barb Cnockaert (Friend) on: Mar 01, 2012

Heather was a special sister, my only sister, funny, lovable and a joy to be around. She suffered too long & I know she's in good hands now with Mom & Dad looking out for her & the Sulker's family. She was taken far to early. Missed. But not forgotten. - Posted by: Sandra & Bob Blake (Sister) on: Feb 29, 2012

The Sulkers have a cabin on the same block at the same lake where my family does. I remember playing with Chris and Nicole when we were little kids- exploring ATV trails and jumping off their dock. When our families were there together, Heather and Glen would invariably invite us to hang out, or even offer to take us water-skiing. Heather was a generous neighbour and a friendly face around the lake. It was a privilege to know her. My thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends during this emotional time. Remember Heather, for in the words of Marcus Tullius Cicero, "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." - Posted by: Andrew Maksymetz (Friend) on: Feb 29, 2012

A special prayer that I read and felt it was so fitting for Heather: "Lord, Please hold her in your arms and treasure her with care. Makeup for all she suffered and all she had to bear. Please whisper in her ear in case she didn't hear how much we truly loved her and will until we are near". Author:Unknown Forever missed and never forgotten.
