OREST MICHAEL SWARYCHEWSKI January 28, 1959 - February 25, 2012 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share with you the sudden passing of Orest Michael Swarychewski on February 25, 2012 at the age of 53 years. We lost a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. To all those who had the honour of being touched by his presence, humour, wit and wisdom know what a true gift he was to all of us. Orest was born in Fisher Branch on January 28, 1959 to John and Sonia Swarychewski. He will lovingly be remembered by his mother, Sonia, sisters Diane (Bill) and Cindy (Trevor), nephew Colin and nieces Sherisse (Dean), Shelby and Chloe. Orest was predeceased by his father in September 2003. He also leaves to mourn countless friends and people whose lives he touched. Orest was involved in the radiator business for a number of years where he took extreme pride in his work and made long lasting friendships with many of his customers. He had a passion for snowmobiling, boating, fishing and hunting. He loved to cook and barbecue and enjoyed good times with all that were close to him. He especially loved his cats - Patches and Squeaker. A very special Thank You to Dave, Christie, Mike and Curtis for all their help and support during this very difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Orest's life was held on March 2, 2012 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Orest's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or to your favourite Animal Shelter. • I will always treasure the good times we shared together growing up on the farm in Poplarfield. Orest always had a laugh and a smile to share with others. He loved to see who was the fastest on our bikes ever since we were on tricycles. We would go exploring our world around the farm each chance we got. Orest liked to catch minnows or shoot sparrows in the barn. We has lots of laughs even when things took a turn for the worse.
