Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL ANN SCHLAG March 24, 1927 March 1, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandma and great gamm. She passed at the age of 84 with her family at her side. She leaves to mourn her children Garry (Brenda), Cliff and Ken (Marcy); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Eric of 60 years in 2006. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Norbert Personal Care Home for taking care of grandma. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Hazel's name to Canadian Diabetes Association 102-310 Broadway Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or to Make a Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2. Hazel was like a sister to me while we were both growing up on the farm. Hazel was orphaned at an early age. She lived with her two aunties, who were neighbors of ours.
