RUTH AGNES PERTEET 1927 - 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the sudden passing of our beloved Aunt Ruth who surrendered her soul to her Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the age of 84. Ruth was predeceased by special niece Gloria Jamerson, three brothers and three sisters. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her last remaining sibling, Barbara Hysaw, special niece Loren Jestin, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ruth was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, moving to Winnipeg with her Mother in the late 1940s. As Ruth never married, she lovingly cared for her Mother until her passing. Ruth and her Mother travelled to many places in both Canada and the U.S. visiting with family and friends. Ruth was a wonderful support to her family. Ruth had a real and committed love for her Lord, which sustained and guided her throughout life. She was an active member of Zion Apostolic Church. She truly looked forward to attending her Wednesday morning bible studies group, as well as enjoying her old time hymns with her Church family. Ruth will be remembered as being independent, loving and kind. A funeral service in celebration of Aunt Ruth's life will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Viewing will commence at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tom Campbell officiating.
