Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAREN JEAN CHIHONIK (nee SINCLAIR) It is with deep sadness the family of Karen Chihonik announces her passing on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry; daughter Adrienne (Eric); sons André, Shaun (Natasha) and stepson Darcy (Stacy); grandchildren Ashley, Desmond, Theresa and Julia; as well as seven brothers; and one sister. She was predeceased by her father William Sinclair, mother Theresa Sinclair and sisters Laura, Rhonda and Andrea. Born in Beausejour, MB, Karen spent her childhood in Traverse Bay, Manitoba and her adult life in Winnipeg. In compliance with Karen's wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. The family would like to thank the staff at MICU/CCU; Dr. A. Macaulay and the staff at Mount Carmel Clinic; friends Mary on Lily Street and Linda, formally of the Lighthouse Mission where Karen volunteered and found spiritual guidance and fulfillment.

I met Karen before I met Garry and she stayed with me for a short while in Montreal and I with her in Winnipeg. She was a good-hearted person, just looking to be loved and cared for. May she rest in peace. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Maureen Gallagher (Sister in law) on: Mar 04, 2012
