MARTHA HARMS (nee PLETZ) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of my beloved wife, our mother and oma on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit in her 84th year. Remaining to cherish her memory is her husband Hinrich, of 55 years, daughter Christina (Gary), son Richard (Rosemarie), grandchildren Matthew, Andrew and Sarah, dog Patches , sister Frieda (Walter), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents Christina and Adolph, brothers Robert and Emil, sister Natalia. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit, ICU and CCU 5th floor at the St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful, kind and compassionate care of our mother. In honouring her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Peter Lurvey officiating, at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery).
