JULIUS HITZER January 9, 1933 - March 2, 2012 Peacefully on March 2, 2012, Julius passed away after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Erna Hitzer (Bauer). Left to remember Julius is his son Rolf, and grandchildren Mandel and Jessica. Also sister-in-law Leokadia Will, Herta Finkel, brother-in-law Robert Bauer (Helen), as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friend, Angela Kostiuk. The family would like to thank Dr. Lysak and the entire staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Oncology Ward and family physician, Dr. Bergen. Funeral will be held at later date with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc., 675 McDermot Avenue, RM ON1160, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 9Z9.
