Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER EDWARD LEWIS (LEWISKI) DFC It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Peter on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Concordia Hospital. Peter was born in Gilbert Plains on May 22, 1919. He had a successful educational career spanning over 35 years as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal. Peter received the Distinguished Flying Cross during the Second World War while serving with the R.C.A.F. 408 Lancaster Squadron. He was predeceased by his wife Alice in 1980, and by his siblings Ann, Helen, Eddie, Elsie and Mike. Peter is survived by his daughter Pat Hutton (Dennis), son Murray, grandchildren Mark (Lisa) and Jodie, great-grandchildren Lucas and Kayla, and siblings Morris, Stella, Sylvia and Bill (Elsie). A sincere thank you to Dr. Strumpher and the staff at Concordia ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home.
