JESSIE ELLEN EMMS (nee DESIMONCOURT) December 13, 1916 - March 6, 2012 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Shirley (Ronnie), grandsons Richard, Kenneth (friend Brenda), Barry (Karla), Darryl (Kim) and 10 great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband David Jones, two daughters Verna Ellen and Marion Diane, and grandson David Albert. Jessie was born December 13, 1916, in Oak Point, MB, where she lived and worked on the family farm until retirement. She settled down in Oak Point before moving into Winnipeg in 1995. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Point, MB, at the hall. Burial to follow at the Oak Point Cemetery. Reverend James Bardsley will officiate.
