Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE GIESBRECHT Anne Giesbrecht passed away peacefully March 12, 2012 at the Golden Door Geriatric Center. She was born September 6, 1924 in Blumenfeld, Manitoba to Heinrich K. and Katharina (Rempel) Giesbrecht. She was very dedicated to her career as a Nurse and enjoyed travelling to many destinations. Predeceased by her parents, nine brothers and nine sisters, she is survived by sisters Helen (Len) Hemminger, Nettie Fehr, Esther Friesen, brother John (Marlene) Giesbrecht, and a sister-in-law Susie Giesbrecht, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street on Thursday, March 15 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Chapel Lawn. A special Thank you to the wonderful staff at Golden Door who attended to Anne's needs In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9.
