MARY-ANN HURL (nee FEDIRCZYK) It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Mary-Ann Hurl, aged 86, on March 11, 2012. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her daughters Evelyn and husband Ken Greer, Dorothy and husband Bob Dilay, Linda Hurl; son Gordon Hurl and wife Sandra; her grandchildren Jason (Ali), Wade, Chris (Shaylene), Kimberly, Scott, Jeff, Allison (Danny), Tess and Harlee; and great- grandchildren Ocean, Jade, Ireland and Sierra. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, her parents Katerena and Ivan Fedirczyk, her brother Michael Sylvester, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Hugh and Mary Hurl. Mom met Dad while working for the T. Eaton Co. and they married in 1948. The center of Mom's life was her husband and children to whom she lovingly devoted her time. Summers were spent at the lake with family and friends. Mom enjoyed watching the family grow to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and preparing food for all to enjoy - the more everyone ate, the happier she was. Regular outings included shopping at Eaton's, Cantor's and having her hair and nails done at Pollock's. All who knew Mary will miss her caring nature and being asked her favourite question So, what's new? The family would like to thank the staff at the River East Personal Care Home for the wonderful care they gave to Mom and a special thank you to Dr. Isaac, Dr. Pachal and staff at the Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care and support. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Mary's name, may be made to a charity of your choice. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE (204) 949-2200 www.nbardal.mb.ca
