Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Since I was one of the youngest of the grandchildren, I was probably one of the kids that got away with most. My most fond memory is of Gegee allowing me to "build things" with his saws and such. I would go into the garage and "borrow" items take them and often "forget" them around the farm. Gegee would go "Hey what you doing with that" smile and take the item and off he would go. Never yell, never scold. Again a very patient man. Another is Gegee taking the time to bury my beloved "Sandy" dog. He purposely took the time while I stood watch crying, as Sandy had died that frosty morning. He made a hole big enough as the ground was frozen and buried my dog for me. We both new it was an important thing to do. My Mom often spoken of Gegee with love, respect and of fondness and happiness as he was so very kind to her, as with the family. May you enjoy your time with your own family. You were missed from above and now you are whole again Gegee! - Posted by: Donna Hallson (Grand-daughter) on: Mar 21, 2012
