STEVE FUTROS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steve Futros on March 20, 2012. He is survived by his wife Mary, of 50 years; sons Bob and Ron; his brother Victor (Anne), and sister Mary Bandor. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Mike, John, and Joe, and his sister Jolana. Steve was born in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1930. He lived on a farm in St. Francois Xavier most of his life. Steve liked going to the beach at Twin Lakes where he'd go fishing and swimming, also playing horse shoes and cards with his family and friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. Our sincere sympathy to Mary, Bob and Ron. We have great memories of Steve all the way back to the dances at Meadows Hall. He was a great guy who shall be missed.
