Roeland (nee Fransoo) of Swan Lake, MB, formerly of St. Alphonse, MB and Mariapolis, MB passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, MB, at the age of 90 years. Left to mourn Alice's passing are her beloved husband George of Mariapolis, MB, daughter Noreen (Garry) Radford of Morinville, AB, son Grant (Shawna) of Nelson, BC, grandchildren James (Koren), Samantha, Vanessa, and Patrick, and great-grandchildren Bailey, Brynne and Logan, as well as sister Margaret Epps, brother Marcel (Shirley) Fransoo, sister-in-law Yvonne Roeland and many nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was predeceased by her brothers Maurice, Gerald and Charles Fransoo, sister Madeleine Scheurebeke and brother-in-law Antoine Roeland. Prayers will be said on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Alphonse Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., Father A. Francis Eworo celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Alphonse Parish Cemetery. Memoriams may be made in Alice's memory to Lorne Memorial Health Foundation, P.O. Box 40 Swan Lake, MB R0G 2S0.
