EILEEN DANYLUK (nee GOOD) It is with great sadness that the family of Eileen Danyluk announces her passing on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 71. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Peter, of 53 years, daughters Joanne (Craig) and Karen (Brian), grandsons Matthew (Candace), Tyler, Justin and Zachary. She will also be remembered by her sister Olive and brother Edward, of Montreal. She was predeceased by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters, all of Montreal. Eileen was born on June 16, 1940 in Montreal. In 1957, she met the love of her life, Peter, who was stationed in Montreal with the Armed Forces. They lived there for 10 years and in 1970, moved to Winnipeg and settled down to raise their family. Eileen was employed at Canada Post until her retirement in 1994. Eileen enjoyed travelling to many different sun spots and after retirement, she enjoyed many winters in Texas until her failing health didn't allow it. Her greatest joy was the time that she spent with her family and friends. She cherished her four grandsons, watching them grow into fine young men. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Eileen's name may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca

  • 1970's met the family next door when we moved into our new home in the Maples, We always knew her as Mrs. Danyluk or Mrs. D as my parents called her, neighbours for forever, lots of trips to their family property till we bought our own, close to their property and still stayed with them till our cabin was built, which Mr. & Mrs. D and everybody helped, Mrs D saw and heard all, but she never let loose lips get me in trouble LOL Love you Mrs. Danyluk.
