Reagan, our daughter-in-law, and Jeffrey our son have just lost their friend and grandmother and our hearts go out to them and their entire family during this difficult time. We have such warm memories of Mary and her family coming over to our home during holidays and special occasions and being invited to their family gatherings during the Christmas season. Her warm presence and wonderful sense of humor always brightened the time she spent with us. We shall always remember the Christmas morning breakfasts, especially the potato pancakes that she so much enjoyed. She cherished sharing these special moments and being surrounded by family members. We will miss you always and want to continue the traditions that we have started. Brian and Kimber - Posted by: Brian and Kimberly Hein (Family) on: Mar 30, 2012

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Maybelle's passing. My sympathies to the whole family. I'll always remember her visits to Mom & Dad's. She was such a happy person to be around. I'll never forget our trip to Ireland, (O'Connor/Turner/Dunn gang), in 2001. We had such a great time together. We had lots of laughs, lots of drinks and even a bit of dancing. I know she will be missed by those who knew her. Your cousin Lynda (Turner) from Russell, Ontario. - Posted by: Lynda Turner (Niece on the Turner side of the family) on: Mar 29, 2012

My Godmother, Auntie Maybelle, was my Dad's sister. Although we didn't have the fortune to live close by each other, I have very fond memories of my Auntie Maybelle and have kept many of the gifts that she gave me when I was a young girl. Maybelle never failed to send a card or drop by when she was in Ottawa and kept us all up-to-date on everyone in Winnipeg. I wish I could be with you and meet you all, perhaps one day... My Deepest Condolences to you, Faye, and to the Entire Turner Family You are all in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom/Grandmother. Aunt Maybelle sent us your family newsletter each Christmas and took great pride in all of her family. I remember always her unending smile. I am Ivor and Marjorie's youngest daughter and I remember my mom and dad going on a cruise with Gerry and Maybelle and them telling me just how much they enjoyed one another's company. Uncle Gerry was my Godfather and so I always felt a special place in my heart for both your dad and mom. My love and prayers are with all of you now. God bless you and your families. - Posted by: Al and Bonnie June Reid(nee Smith) (niece) on: Mar 28, 2012

I will personally miss Mary, for her jocks and lovely smiles. Mary would always comment on my nails and jellewery. I will always have Mary on my mind, my deepest sympathy to all of the family. A friend always, Ginette. - Posted by: GINETTE LECLAIR (WORKER AT TACHE DAY CENTER) on: Mar 28, 2012
