Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLE DOROTHY MAYGARD It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother and grandmother on March 26, 2012. Carole is survived by her daughters: Sandra Maygard (Barry), Linda Humphreys (Gary), daughter-in-law Donna Maygard, grandchildren: Courtney Pollard (Derek), Kyle Humphreys, Lauren, Kaitlin, and Victoria Maygard, sisters: Sally Guyda, Jean Grocholski, Josie Bodyk, and brother-in-law Charlie Churko. Carole was predeceased by her husbands: John Maygard (1995) and George Lammiman (2009), her son Harold Maygard (2006), sisters: Clara Zaretski, Anne Churko, Rosie Miller and Mary Zelyk, brothers: John and Bernie Troniak. Carole was born in St. Andrews, Manitoba, the youngest of 10 children, to parents Mike and Xena Troniak. She had fond childhood memories of school, friends, and family life. In 1945 she married the love of her life John Maygard, a dashing Air Force man from Alberta. They spent the first 10 years of their marriage in Alberta, before returning to Manitoba where they raised their family and had three children. In 2001 she moved into Villa Cabrini and created an active social network within the villa and the Holy Rosary Community. At age 79, and after a romantic courtship, she married George Lammiman in 2005. Carole was extremely devoted to her family and loved family visits and phone calls, especially from her children and grandchildren. Carole was a classy lady, beautiful and glamorous. She was kind, generous and loving. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice; the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Cancer Society. The funeral will be Saturday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca

My deepest condolences to all of Carole's family. She was truly a gracious and lovely lady. Carole had a way of always making me feel special and welcome and I will miss her wonderful sence of humour and the sound of her laughter.
