Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We have know Gigi and Sid since our days at U of W and attended their wedding. We were also cottage neighbours at Leaside Beach and enjoyed summers with our families. Gigi was a generous person with a strength of character and sense of humour and a wonderful companion for Sid. We are shocked and saddened by the news. Our thoughts are with the family - Sid, Sheila, Sean - our condolences. John, Jane & Family - Posted by: John Bogar & Jane Hawkins (friend) on: Apr 07, 2012

  • I have known Gigi for 13 years - we met at work. Work was more fun because of her and we had great conversations, laughs and yes arguments! I loved and admired her energy, and interest in everything. She was also a good friend to poeple who felt lonely; she gave them encouragment. I had a laugh at her binder filled with her "deals" for free cakes and whatever. I am so happy to have met her. God speed Gigi Lee. - Posted by: donna Potenza (friend) on: Apr 05, 2012

  • My heart is saddened to have lost our wonderful friend Gigi. I met GiGi through her good friend Lori when we decided to start our book club. Gigi was an inspiring woman, who was very passionate for her career in teaching and helping her students. She had great love for her family who she adored. I loved her passion for life and loved her infectious laugh. I was honored to be her friend and will miss her. - Posted by: Karen Whalen (Friend) on: Apr 04, 2012

  • I am so saddened to hear of Gigi's very sudden passing. She was an inspiration to me and my late husband Thom. We enjoyed her most gracious hospitality. Her commitment to her students' success was evident in her small talk about her work. She shared her early struggles in obtaining her education here in Canada with me. She loved her family and had a big heart for others. I was privileged to have crossed paths with Gigi and my husband was privileged to share God's love for her, as her former Pastor. - Posted by: Betty Schultz () on: Apr 03, 2012
