ELSIE ANN (ELISE) CHORNEY April 9, 1941 - April 7, 2012 Peacefully after a short battle with cancer, Elise passed away at 70 years of age. Elise was predeceased by her father William, mother Jessie, brother Eddie and brother-in-law Ed. Elise is survived by her siblings, John (Sylvie), Orest (Stella), Marie, Julie (Zennon) and Merslaw (Violet), and numerous nieces and nephews. Elise was born on the family farm April 9, 1941 in Fraserwood, MB. She attended school in Fraserwood, MB and continued and completed her education at the University of Winnipeg and completed and received her diploma from the University of Toronto as an Interior Designer. Elise put her talents to work by designing the interiors of the Toronto and Montreal airports along with other projects throughout her career. Elise was also known to have quite the humourous side along with being witty and feisty. She was known never to leave her home without lipstick on and loved going to Value Village to find the deals of the week. We are sure we will all have some funny stories or memories that we will forever keep in our hearts. A small service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Fraserwood Cemetery with Deacon Gordon Mendres officiating. Following will be a gathering of Elise's family and friends at the Fraserwood Hall for a service. A dinner will follow. Rest in Peace Elise 586-8044
