HELEN TOKER (nee GUSHATY) Peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at St. Boniface Hospital, Helen Toker passed away at the age of 89. She is predeceased by her loving husband Fred, and sisters Sanda and Lynn. Helen leaves to mourn her passing; son Robert (June); daughters Karen, Patricia (Bob) and Candace (Bruce); her precious grandchildren, Trent (Paige), Tamara (Michael), Bryan, Tyler (Kathryn), Blake and Graham, and special great-granddaughter, Summer Dawn. She also leaves to mourn brothers Tom (Helen), and Joe (June). The family would like to acknowledge the many nieces and nephews that were a large part of Helen's life. As per Helen's wishes, a private family interment will take place. Family and friends are invited to Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, for a gathering and sharing of stories on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to send a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on GA4, at the Health Sciences Centre, and the Palliative Ward, A8 at the St. Boniface Hospital, for their sensitivity, kindness and loving care.
