Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL MCFARLANE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pearl McFarlane (nee Adams) at the age of 88 on April 9, 2012 at Boyne Lodge, Carman, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Emily, her husband of 62 years, Jim and her siblings Myrtle, Leslie, and Stanley. She will be sadly missed by her son Randy, and all of her nieces, nephews, and other relatives. As an avid baseball fan from a young age she loved to play, and later travel to watch games all over Manitoba and North Dakota. This love of sports carried over into later life. She was a fan of curling and the Blue Jays, and loved to watch the Blue Bombers on television. Despite being in the hospital she insisted on watching the Grey Cup. A private memorial service will be held at Doyle's Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on April 12, 2012. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Special thanks are extended to Ted and Marlene Kennington for their regular visits, which were enjoyed, and to Sue Ann Gourley and all the home care workers who helped Pearl stay at home for as long as possible. Finally, thanks to all the nurses and staff at Carman Memorial Hospital and Boyne Lodge for making her stay as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boyne Lodge, 120 4th Ave. SW, Carman, MB. Doyle's Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements. www.doylesfuneralchapel.com
