KENDALL ANN WIEBE
Born: May 18, 1984
Date of Passing: Apr 08, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENDALL ANN WIEBE May 18, 1984 - April 8, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kendall Ann Wiebe at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre on April 8, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. Kendall loved life, loved drawing and was passionate about art. She loved the relationships and friends that she built while hair dressing. Kendall loved celebrating life. But most of all Kendall had a deep love for her family; her husband Steve, daughter Brynn age 4, son Bryce age 9, and daughter Meagan age 13. Brynn her daughter meant the world to her. The bond of a mother and daughter will never be forgotten. Nothing was too much for her daughter. Kendall is also survived by her parents, Art and Mary Ann Wiebe and Steve's parents Tom and Susan Cancilla; her sisters, Tanya (Joe), Sharla, and Amanda; her grandmother Elizabeth; and so many more friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kendall Wiebe/Cancilla Memorial Fund which has been established for Kendall's family. Your financial contributions may be made at any of the Assiniboine Credit Unions. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the Winnipeg Paramedics, Winnipeg Fire Department, Grace Hospital team, and the entire Health Sciences ICU team for all their professional care and compassion shown to Kendall Ann and both families. A big thanks to all our family, friends and community for all your thoughts, prayers, and acts of kindness during this very difficult time. Together with our faith, you have kept us strong. Remember: In Christ, there are no good-byes; In Christ, there is no end! See you in Heaven, Kendall Ann. Love, the Wiebe and Cancilla families Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive, Winnipeg. Kendall, full of life, Kendall, the artist, Kendall, the passionate lover and mother, Kendall, the girl who broke through barriers to do the work she wanted and needed to do, Kendall, the friend and great person she was, Kendall, the wonderful daughter and sister... and for a person like me who's just a friend of the family, Kendall is the person who persevered to offer and use her talents against many odds, and gave herself as a gift to her family, friends and the world. She is a shining star in the sky, tonight, on the anniversary of her death... or her recreation.. not only in the metaphysical sense, but in the people she gave life to through organ donation... Live on, Kendall.... - Posted by: barbara shewchuk (Friend) on: Apr 07, 2013

I was lucky to have met Kendall. She was the most energetic person I've met and the most caring. She was a great person and very talented. I will never forget all the memories I have of her from comso to just hanging out. It is very sad, and I hope her family will be alright. Kendall will always have a special place in my heart. It's very rare you meet someone that special. - Posted by: Selena Tougas () on: Apr 17, 2012

As a customer at Ultracuts it was always a highlight to be welcomed by a big smile from Kendall when you entered. She was very outgoing and always positive. I will miss that smile but that is minor compared to the loss of her for her family, friends and co-workers. My prayers and sympathy are with you, however I know your memories of her will always be a positive factor and will always be there in your hearts as you move forward as she would want you to. - Posted by: Steve Brown (Customer ) on: Apr 17, 2012

We remember Bryce & Anton first meeting when Steve & Andre did IP. Afterwards, the Icedogs would be playing their hearts out and Kendall & Elsebeth hoped Bryn & Annika would nap! Those outdoor games with the girls toddling around were tough, but we had fun nonetheless. We cannot believe this has happened to your family. Our hearts are breaking for you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Andre, Elsebeth, Stefan, Andre & Annika Kriening (KW Hockey Family) on: Apr 17, 2012

Kendall was a huge supporter of her step-daughter - Meagan’s basketball life. She was at most, if not all, of Meagan’s games and tournaments. She always brought warm greetings to everyone around her; therefore I’m sure she touched more people than she actually realized. Seeing the special relationship she had with her little Brynn always made me smile. On behalf of the Manitoba Magic Basketball Club, we wish Steve and all of the Wiebe/Cancilla family our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. - Posted by: Shirley Blanca (Friend through Meagan's basketball Club) on: Apr 16, 2012

We started bringing my boys to her about 18 months ago. The boys felt an instant connection with her. She could talk to them about anything - school, video games, super heros, sports, junk food... She always had a wonderful smile and welcomed the boys each time they came in. You will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Wiebe/Cancilla family. - Posted by: Kathy H (costumer ) on: Apr 16, 2012

I met Kendall in 2003, when we both attended cosmetology at Red River, through Garden Valley Collegiate in Winkler. I knew her but didn't actually have the chance to really get to know her, when by chance we happened to be reconnected. I looked forward to my hair appointments with Kendall. Our lives had many parallels and she was one of the only people I was able to confide in. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet her beautiful daughter Brynn while at one of my appointments. I know that Kendall's legacy will live on in her daughter. Kendall was a beautiful caring person, and I know that will live on with her daughter. Rest in peace Kendall, until we meet again. - Posted by: Juli DeRidder (friend) on: Apr 16, 2012

I was in complete shock when I heard of this tragedy. I just started going to Kendall last year, we had great conversations. She was a wonderful girl and loved her family so much. She will be deeply missed. Our daughters are the same age and we talked about them often. My thoughts and prayers goes out to all of you at this very difficult time. - Posted by: Cyndi Padoan (New Client) on: Apr 15, 2012

My daughter had gymnastics with Kendall's daughter and I would see Kendall every week at gymnastics. The few times I spoke with her, she seemed like such a nice person. You could tell how much she loved her daughter and what a great mother she was. My heart breaks for her immediate family, especially her young daughter who will grow up without her mother. You're all in my thoughts. - Posted by: Melinda Halpenny (acquaintance) on: Apr 15, 2012

I was a returning customer of hers. She was bright, sincere, genuine and funny. What a spark in an otherwise average day. A complete tragedy. A terrible waste. The world is significantly less than it was, now that she is gone. I'll think of her when I go back there. - Posted by: mike connellan (customer) on: Apr 15, 2012

We will always remember Kendall, with her patience and great smile offered to my children, and she was the only stylist who could do the "crew cut" perfect for our older son. Our heart goes out to Brynn and the rest of her family. Kendall was a beautiful person, inside and out, and will be missed dearly. - Posted by: Tammy, Tanner, Lexy and Layne (loyal customers) on: Apr 14, 2012

I am so saddened to hear we lost our little Kendall. I will miss her smile, her laughter, but I guess most of all just being in her presence. She was a wonderful mother to her little daughter Brynn. To see the two of them together always made me smile. Kendall, you were a joy to work with and know. I will miss you dear, Patti - Posted by: Patti Duehmig (friend and co-worker) on: Apr 14, 2012

I remember working with Kendall, and the laughs that we had, she welcomed me in and made me feel at home. When I think of Kendall I remember how she had a very strong moral fiber and was always concerned about doing the right thing for her children and in all aspects of life. My heart is breaking for all of her loved ones and friends. God bless you all. - Posted by: DONNA IWANICKI (co-worker) on: Apr 14, 2012
