They participated in their Seniors music and Choir group bringing programs to personal care homes. Jacob was able to dedicate time serving God as a leader in Christian Service Brigade before retirement and after. Jacob brought the message of hope and salvation with his ministry team to Union Gospel Mission for many years even pushing into the years when he was weakening from illness. He has also enjoyed bowling with friends, family get-togethers at home and at a cottage he built with family help after retirement. The family would like to especially thank all the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home North Nursing Station for their wonderful care of Dad and compassion shown to our family. We got to know Jake some 40 years ago through Brotherlove. The Schellenbergs were very supportive. Our condolences to the family. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 - Posted by: David and Valerie Wiebe (Friends) on: Apr 14, 2012
