Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVITALIUS (VI) MARTENS 1914 - 2012 Passed away peacefully at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe Claire, Quebec, on April 7, 2012, aged 97 years. Born in Russia on October 2, 1914, he came to Canada in 1954. He worked for Air Canada for 25 years, retiring in 1979. He was liked and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1987. He is survived by his son Walter, daughter-in-law Chen and beloved grand-daughter Jennifer. The funeral will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. He will be buried with his beloved wife in Brookside Cemetery.
