Mrs. Pura was a truly special person. She was a wonderful listener and she always made me feel special. She loved her children dearly and would share stories with me about Wendy and Joanne. She always wanted to know what was happening in my life, she had the most wonderful smile. Mrs. Pura (Joyce) will remain close in all of the hearts she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you Joanne. God bless you and your family. - Posted by: Debbie Dolski (old school chum of Joanne and sat with Joyce on the bus coming home from work many, many times.) on: Apr 19, 2012

Joyce was my supervisor a number of years ago when I was just a young mom and my marriage was in trouble. Joyce was a good listener at the time and helped me through a difficult time. RIP. - Posted by: Tracey Roberts (co-worker at Winnipeg Tax Centre) on: Apr 19, 2012

What a great auntie Joyce was. Since we live in California we would visit every summer when we were kids. She was always so open, warm and generous. No matter how little of importance the topic of conversation was, she made me feel that it was of importance to her. As we grew up we didn't visit every summer, but I never doubted the love I know she felt for me. Her love traveled across the country and I always felt that love. She was a great example of a woman of strength. How fortunate I am to be a part of her family. THANK YOU JOYCE FOR BEING A GREAT AUNT! I LOVE YOU! - Posted by: Monica Russell (Neice) on: Apr 18, 2012
