HELEN YURKOWSKI Our family is saddened to announce that our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen Yurkowski, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 90 years. We are grateful for having our Mom as long as we did. A caring, giving person, cooking was her passion and she always made sure that everyone was well-looked after and well fed. Her cooking was the best. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, two sisters Emily and Pauline and four brothers William, Joseph, Jack and Ed. She is survived by daughters Deanna (Guy), Joyce (Wayne), son Mal (Kathy), grandchildren Michelle (Ron), Paul, Christine, great-granddaughter Kaitlyn and three sisters Minnie, Eva and RoseAnne. A private family interment will be held Friday, April 20, 2012. Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre, 3 East for the compassionate and loving care extended to our mother and her family. We couldn't have asked for better care. Prior to being at Riverview, we give special thanks to her extraordinary Home Care workers. You know who you are.
