GRACE PROKOP (nee PALAMARCHUK) Grace Prokop passed away peacefully on April 19, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital, aged 70 years. Grace was predeceased by her parents William and Mary. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steve, daughters Lily (Todd) Drebnisky, and Tammy (Don) McKeown, grandchildren Courtney, Samantha, and Bradley McKeown, sister Noreen (Louis) Spakowski, Aunt Anne Hoerbelt and cousin Wayne Zuzanski. She also leaves to mourn many relatives and friends. Grace was born in Winnipeg, August 30, 1941 and raised in Arborg. She married Steve in 1960, and lived across Canada and in Europe thanks to Steve's military career. In 1980 they finally returned home to Winnipeg. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Avenue, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., liturgy by Father Bohdan Lukie, CSsR. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. Pallbearers will be Todd Drebnisky, Don McKeown, Len Heft, Wayne Zuzanski, James Zuzanski and Ed Pomeransky. We would like to thank Dr. Lipinski for all the years she looked after Grace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church, Decorating Fund, 250 Jefferson Avenue.
