Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER LAWRENCE COREY MCGREGOR-JAMIESON It is with deep sorrow that his family shares the news of the death of Alex McGregor-Jamieson on April 19, 2012 at the age of 25. Alex leaves to remember him with love, his mother Kim McGregor (Dave); his father David Jamieson (Josy); his brothers Ryan and Aaron Hamilton; his girlfriend Sharon Doud; grandparents Rene Jamieson, Mary McGregor and Murray McGregor; his aunts, uncles and cousins, and his many his friends, especially his closest friend, Jason. Alex was born July 8, 1986 and lived and was educated in Winnipeg, MB. Alex will be remembered as sweet, caring and loving with a wonderful off-the-wall sense of humour with a great love of the outdoors and the natural world. He was a quiet, thoughtful young man whose deep wisdom and caring heart were a powerful combination. His short life touched many lives. In turn, Alex will continue to be deeply loved by his family and his many friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. I knew of Alex through the stories shared by his grandmother Rene. Her stories of his quirky sense of humour and dearness to her heart were always shared with love and pride. Words don't seem enough but it is our hope that Rene, David, Josy, Kim, Andrew, Dan and all of Alex's family and friends can find some peace in remembering this special young man. I did not know Alex, but what I heard of him at his memorial remembrance service sounds so much like his dear grandmother, Rene Jamieson, a very close dear friend of mine for years.
