RUTH JUNETTE MORIN (nee HASLUND) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ruth Junette Morin, (Haslund) on April 21, 2012, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who passed peacefully at Red River Place, Selkirk, MB. She is survived by her loving husband Bill of 43 years, daughters, Pat (Walter Shier) and Randy (Larry Adams), four grandchildren, Karen (Ed Linquist), Dean (Angie Shier), Joanne (Brent Campbell), Jason (Karen Hamaberg) and seven great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Hunt and Georgia Lemoine, sisters-in-law Yvonne Smith, Joyce Morin and Betty Morin, brother-in-law Donald Fraser, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Christian and Maria Haslund, sister Signe (Cliff Lanhan), brother Arnie (Ivy Haslund), sisters-in-law Mary (Earl Boyd), Clara (Roger Vanatreeve), Rose Fraser and Betty (Carl Lundgren) and brothers-in-law Percy Hunt, Henri Lemoine, Alex (Hilda Morin), Alan Morin, Albert Morin and Fred Smith. Ruth loved her little house on the corner' in Inwood, as well as dancing and going for drives with Bill, the love of her life. She had great joy spending time with family and friends and you were always welcomed into Ruthie's kitchen with her table full of delicious baking. Special thanks to the staff at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital and Red River Place in Selkirk. She was loved and cared for by so many. Prayers to be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., and funeral service to be held at the Inwood Memorial Hall, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Luncheon to follow.
