I was so saddened to read of Cecil's too early passing in the Sun today. I was very honoured to work with Cecil at the school - he was one of my favorite principals and together we planned many successful actions to help the high school students achieve equal educational standards with the rest of the province. This was very important to both of us. I so much appreciated his friendship and we certainly held mutual respect for one another. I later met him when Cynthia attended PCI in Portage and was so happy to renew acquaintances with him and his wife, Anne. I have ALWAYS remembered him so fondly and still speak about him often when talking about my years as High School English teacher at Sandy Bay - one of the memorable aspects of my career as a high school teacher. My deepest sympathy to the family and especially to you, Anne, and to the children. I feel I have lost a dear friend. - Posted by: margaret wilson (Staff member from 1981 - 1983) on: Apr 28, 2012
