JACQUELINE ELIZABETH SCHENDEL May 25, 1939 - April 26, 2012 After a courageous battle with a lengthy illness, Jackie has gone to be with the Lord. Jackie leaves to cherish her memory daughter Robin (Tim) of Winnipeg; sons Mike (Trish) of New Zealand and Mitch (Mel) of Winnipeg; daughter Jodine of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren; brother Frank; sisters Debbie and Joanne; nephew David (Susan) of Winnipeg and many other extended family. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Betty Orne; father Francis Frank Orne; sister Lauren Lori Schendel, and first husband Jim Slater. Jackie dedicated her life to raising children as both a career and a mother. She thoroughly enjoyed her years in Matlock, Manitoba and loved being near water, fishing and camping. The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff of Holy Family Home for their compassionate care. Service will be held on Monday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Vineyard Church, 519 Osborne St. Parking on street and at the rear of the church. 586-8044
