BOULTBEE The family, with heavy hearts, announce the passing of our Mom peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 79 years. Mom is survived by her sons Mike, Don (Karen); daughter Jean (Rob) Kanne; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Gloria (Milton) Kay, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Vernon and daughter Susan Riopel, brothers-in-law Pete (Grace) Boultbee, Glen Boultbee, and sister-in-law Patricia Boultbee. Mom was a long time, active member of the Charleswood Legion. Mom played a mean game of cribbage and was a lifelong Master of Crossword Puzzles. The service for Mom will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. A private family interment will be held in Broadview, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mom's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Dear Jean, You took very good care of your Mother. She was so proud of you and loved you very much. I have wonderful memories of Clarice and I. Clarice lived on Elmhurst, I lived on Elmhurst at one time then Beiko Ave. in Winnipeg. I will always remember Clarice's quick wit, her fur coat that she loved so well and how she loved to play games on the TV. I will remember her charm and grace and miss our visits.
