Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL TAKUSZEWICZ After a long illness, Michael passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital on April 30, 2012. He was born on April 4, 1917, in Jarszewiczy, Poland. Michael was a Second World War veteran and served in the Polish Army. Following the war Michael found his way to England where he learned his trade, tailoring. In August 1949 he made Winnipeg, Canada, his home where he perfected his trade as a tailor. He retired from Eaton's as a men's clothing salesman. A special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care of Michael. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. Alexander Harkavyi officiating. All friends are welcome to attend. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

I would like to send my DEEPEST condolences to Miss Sofia and her family! I'm sorry that I just heard about this because I was out of the country. Mr. Takusewicz was one of my parents' longtime cherished friends! Also, watched me and my brother grow up,..he was like family to us! I'm in such sorrow and dismay that I could not be there for his passing! My most heartfelt apologies!!! I think of him often and always will! May he rest in peace! Vichnaya youmy Pamiat!
