JOE VAN DAMME Joe Van Damme of Notre Dame de Lourdes, formerly of Holland, Manitoba passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Foyer Notre Dame in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba at the age of 92 years. Left to mourn Joe's passing are his beloved wife Yvonne (nee De Koninck) of Notre Dame de Lourdes, formerly of Holland, Manitoba, daughters Marlene (John) Marginet of Holland, Manitoba and Doreen (Nelson) Van Den Bussche of Swan Lake, Manitoba, son Robert (Andrea) of Bruxelles, Manitoba, grandchildren Allan, Brian (Kerry), Corinna (Dino), Tina (Devron), Neil (Jackie), Lisa, Joanna, Jason (Sherri) and Tracy (Grant), great-grandchildren Sydney, Naomi, Rachael, Matthew, Brooke, Hunter, Trapper, Makayla, Peyton, Hailey, Caitlin and Jessica, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was predeceased by his infant daughter Diane, parents Aimé and Zulma (nee Robenzyn), brothers Remi, Philip, Marcel and Maurice, and sister Laura. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, Holland, Manitoba at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, Father John McKenzie celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. John Berchmans Parish Cemetery. Memoriams may be made in Joe's memory to The Holland Friendship Centre, c/o Steve Ollenberger, Box 292, Holland, MB R0G 0X0.
