TEOFIL STACH June 5, 1934 - April 30, 2012 It is with a deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Teofil (Teo) Stach on April 30, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Teo was predeceased by his loving wife Augusta, sister Elsa, sister Freda and nephew Manfred. Teo leaves behind to mourn: son Larry and grandson Kyle; daughter Loretta (John); daughter Marlene (George); grandson Lenny and great-grandson Lenny Jr.; son Ronald and daughter Donna. Remaining to cherish Teo's memory are numerous siblings, a large extended family network in Germany, and many friends and extended family in Little Grand Rapids. Dad worked tirelessly throughout his life and considered his greatest achievement his family. His incredible determination, strength and perseverance extended into all endeavors that he took on in his life. With his wife Augusta, Dad particularly enjoyed his role over the years as foster Dad to 186 children in Augusta's home community of Little Grand Rapids. Dad took great pride in having the nicest indoor plants in the neighbourhood and loved to garden outdoors. Dad was an avid fisherman and found peace and tranquility on the open waters of Family Lake and Stoney Lake. As per Teofil's wishes, prayer and wake services will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with interment to follow. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca
