MARIE JEANNE CLOUTIER (nee OLIVIER) September 17, 1917 - May 9, 2012 Peacefully at the age of 94, Jeanne Cloutier passed away at Actionmarguerite (Centre Taché) in the early hours of May 9, 2012. In addition to her Centre Taché family, Jeanne is survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband William Alfred (Fred) on July 29, 1986, her parents Eudore and Dorila Olivier (nee Guertin), her sister Marguerite (Victor Lavoie) on August 11, 2000, and her brother Ernest (Tibi) Olivier on July 1, 2004. Jeanne was born and raised in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba, where she forged friendships that she cherished throughout her lifetime. She married Fred on June 14, 1950. Over the years they worked and made their home in California. Jeanne returned to Manitoba following Fred's death, residing in the Saint Boniface area. Jeanne loved music, especially sing-songs with family and friends. In addition to playing solitaire and watching curling, Jeanne enjoyed crafting and sewing, with her stylish wardrobe showing both her skill and her amazing attention to detail. Jeanne truly lived one of her favourite expressions: Do the best you can with what you've got. Jeanne's family and friends would like to thank the wonderful staff of 5AB, where Jeanne spent her last several years, as well as the companions and care givers from CH Health, for their gifts of gentle care, comfort and companionship. At Jeanne's request, cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service will be held, with burial to follow in Ste. Agathe.
