BERNICE USHY With great sadness we announce the passing of Bernice at the age of 89 at Holy Family Home on Thursday, May 10, 2012. Bernice will be dearly missed by her sons Gerry (Sandi) and their children Stephen and Donna, Glenn (Judy) and their son Robert. Bernice also leaves behind one great-grandson Ryan and her brother Stanley Osmer of Detroit, MI. She was predeceased by her husband Milton in 1968. Bernice was born January 1, 1923, and was raised in the Winnipeg, East Kildonan/Elmwood area. Bernice worked at the Hudson Bay Company for 33 years and spent 18 years doing voluntary work at both Health Sciences Centre and Misericordia Hospital. Bernice was a life long member of Holy Eucharist Parish. Her last years were spent at Holy Family Home. We would like to thank the entire staff at Holy Family for their warmth and care shown to Bernice over her time spent there. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernice's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
