His name was not Guy. As long I can remember,it was Ti-Guy! His siblings would call him Ti-Guy even when he was a 60 years old gentle person. He was our best man at our wedding when he was 16. He was also the godfather for our daughter Micheline. Our children have fond memories of Ti-Guy. Our boys commented how he loved to play fight with them. Ross remarked that no one told Ti-Guy that he was suppose to let the youngest win. When Micheline’s teddy bear got lost, we received it in the mail because it had travelled to Thompson in Ti-Guys’s Cougar and he mailed it because he knew how that teddy meant to a two year old. My husband remarked how in life we could do things: the right way, the wrong way and Ti-Guy's way. Ti-Guy was very opinioned and loved to win arguments. With our youngest son, he would tell him how much better a hockey player he was compared to Roger. Our four year old Ron would run back and forth from our house to his grandmother’s house to try to win his case. So Roger tells Ron to tell Oncle Ti-Guy that the Canadiens were a much better team than his Thompson’s Turkey! We have many good souvenirs of Ti-Guy. We will miss you. We will miss your visit with Leah when coming back from the States. - Posted by: Paulette Vermette (Sister-in-law) on: May 21, 2012

Leah, we were both very sorry to hear of Guy's passing. We have fond memories of your visits to our cottage on the Belleisle and our home in Saint John. So glad you got to take your trips overseas and to Australia which Guy and you both enjoyed. You will miss him dearly but you cannot forget the memories. Take care. Although Guy and I parted ways some forty years ago, I hold fond memories of his friendship and kind nature. He was always there to lend encouragement and never failed to provide foresight and views. Our lives were enriched by his presence and companionship. - Posted by: Alfred Fillion (School mate) on: May 15, 2012
