Leslie was a good friend, we loved sitting and talking with him, he used to joke with Jack and call him black jack, we had fun together. I, Pat, went to a few of his birthday parties and they were so good and tons of food. His singing was so great. Rest in peace Leslie. - Posted by: Pat and Jack (friend) on: Jun 01, 2012

Leslie and I actually met in Toronto in the 60's and at that time we were room mates for a while. We had a lot of good times, went to every bar in the city of TO, lots of parties and birthdays, and he was great to be around. We hooked up again in Wpg., and frequented the hotels he sang karaoke at. His voice will be missed as well as his personality. - Posted by: Ronnie Andrykow (Friend of 47 years) on: May 31, 2012

I would like to give my condolences to the Bailey family. I would like to say that Les Bailey was not only my friend but a brother and I considered him a part of my family. From the early years in the Suds Room to celebrating some sort of event. But mostly just hanging out having a beer and good conversations were the highlights of my friendship with Les. Good times and the bad, we were always there for each other. So sad that I haven't seen him in the recent years and he will be sadly missed by me and my family. RIP Lesley My Friend... - Posted by: Barb Robertson ( Barbie) (good friend) on: May 30, 2012

Lester Bailey, what can you say? Indeed a true gentleman of values, intelligence, humor and love for all his friends. I'll never again listen to "Georgia on my mind" the same again. So funny, and his laugh... God bless you Les and sing with the angels now. I pray for peace for your twin brother, he'll miss you so much as we all will and for Carol to be alright through this. Goodnight friend...g - Posted by: gail iwaniw (friend) on: May 29, 2012

Les Baily is a gentleman and true, true friend. I left Wpg. in 2008 and never got the chance to get back and visit him. It was always a pleasure to see Les and he always greeted me with a hug and a smile. It didn't matter if we were singing at the "SUDS" or at his home or just meeting on the street, he always took the time to find out how I was doing. I think of Les all the time and will miss him very much. My condolences go out to all his family and friends... "until we meet again my brother" - Posted by: John Mulvaney (friend) on: May 28, 2012
