FRANK CORNELIUS AARTS We are sad to be making the announcement of the passing of our Opa on Sunday, May 20, 2012, with family by his side, at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Christine and their children; William, Michael, Adele, and Kenneth, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank came from the Netherlands to Canada in the 1950s. Here in Canada he married Christine and settled in Winnipeg, raised his family, and worked for many years at Reimer Express Lines and Imperial Roadways. During this time Frank was very active with volunteering at the Dutch Pavilion during Folklorama each year. Later, in his retirement years, he greatly enjoyed spending his time with his family, being in the outdoors, woodworking, actively participating in the Dutch community, and traveling. He is greatly loved and will be forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Concordia Hospital who had taken such great care of our Opa over the past couple of months, and especially during his final hours. A private service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. 586-8044
