ESTELLE SIMON (nee BOULIC) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Estelle Simon at Riverview Health Centre on May 24, 2012, at the age of 81 years. Estelle is lovingly remembered by son Charles Simon (Sheila); grandchildren Camille, Madeleine, and Joseph; sisters, Annette Lejeune, Lina Guéret (Raymond); sister-niece Sylvia Downey (Jay), and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Léo Simon; sons Claude and Alain; parents Guillaume and Françoise Boulic; brother Marcel Boulic and sister Alice Teffaine. Estelle will be remembered for her lively spirit and positive approach to life. She took great pleasure in her family and close circle of friends. Her favorite activities included working in her garden, walking and enjoying her neighbourhood. Meeting former students from her teaching career at Marion and Provencher Schools was always special to her. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30 at Eglise Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny Street, St. Boniface. Internment will take place following the mass at St. Boniface Cemetery. A special thanks to the dedicated professionals of WRHA who supported Estelle in her final months.
