Right after retiring from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada in Prague, Rodger became an accompanying spouse of his wife, Sharon, who was assigned to Bonn, their second time to be posted there. Rodger loved to drive so they re-visited many interesting places in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, etc. I am eternally grateful to Sharon and Rodger who took me to those beautiful places. Rodger supported faithfully Sharon's art classes given to kids and the sale of Sharon's art crafts at diplomatic Christmas Bazaars for the benefit of Save the Children Fund. I regret not to have visited Sharon and Rodger after their retirement in Winnipeg. My four year posting in Bonn was enjoyable because of your friendship, understanding, generosity and kindness.
