ROELOFJE (ROELIE) WALSTRA 1931 - 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Roelie, on Friday, May 25, 2012, at the Concordia Hospital. Roelie was predeceased by her husband, Aldert, on November 17, 1995. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Aldert (Debbie), Pat (Ron), Barbara, Ron (Linnet) and Sandy (Darren), grandchildren, Christopher, Curtis, Shane, Daniel, Nicole, Ryan, Johnathan, Benjamin, Joel and Sarah, great-grandchildren Brody, Riley, Storm, Ethan, Tiffany and Landen. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow. Family would like to thank the staff on N1 South at Concordia Hospital for the care and compassion they gave Mom and our family. My deepest sympathy goes out to her whole family. I have known Roeli most of my life as I used to babysit when I was younger. Then lately within the last years I have ran into her at Club Regent where she enjoyed going to. I really enjoyed her company and will miss her a great deal.
